Three Rivers Chapter 16 supports the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission Muskie stocking program. Most of Pennsylvania’s muskie population does not naturally reproduce. Therefore the spawning, rearing and stocking effort in Pennsylvania by Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission is critical to the future of Muskies. Chapter 16 contributes yearly funds (minnow fund) which supports the fingerling muskies during the rearing process.
Chapter 16 annually purchases $5000 to $6000 dollars of minnows for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission hatcheries to feed to the fingerling Muskies that will be stocked in public lakes in Pennsylvania.
